Downloading Audiobooks Instruction

Downloading Audiobooks from library to MP3, iPad, iPod and iPhone

1. Have iTunes installed (www.apple.com/itunes)
2. Go to your own library's website
3. Downloadable Media
4. Click “Overdrive Media Console”
5. Click “Download Now”
6. Click “Run”
7. Setup wizard
8. back to Downloadable Media catalog
9. Search (choose Overdrive WMA Audiobook)
10. Type your search keyword (i.e. James Patterson)
11. Availability (see PC, WMA, iPod, etc highlighted)
12. Add to cart
13. Proceed to checkout
14. Sign in (type library card number and password/PIN)
15. Choose “Lending period” and confirm checkout
16. Download
17. if meet troubleshoot/problem, click “upgrade” then “ok” click” Overdrive Media Console security upgrade” and back to 16. Download
18. all checkbox checked
19. Transfer (Overdrive Media Console)
20. Check “manually manage music and videos”
21. Next; Finish

***Now the user can see the checked out item show up in Audiobook folder or music or song folder or playlists; the audiobook is now on the user’s device***
